Introduce Yourself
We will use this session to introduce ourselves. Who are you, why are you taking this course, what interests do you have in the area of criminal justice, favorite show or legal movie. Just something so we can get a sense of each other.
OK, If I ask you to do it, I should follow through myself. I am teaching this because...it is an area of law I have some experience with. My favorite areas include electronic surveillance and technology. My favorite legal show or movie...."Due Process" and "My Cousin Vinnie." Most people don't believe this but I have never seen "Law and Order" or "Scarface," but I am going to watch "Scarface this semester and report back to you. I hope you have a good semester.
I am a Justice major here at CCP. I am enrolled in this course because it is a requirement for my major. I originally wanted to make a career out of my first love, Art, but when I transferred to another high school in the 11th grade, which did not offer an Art program, I decided to give Law a try. To my surprise I really enjoyed it...so here I am. I am not sure which area of law I will practice in the future. I am interested in probate, divorce and family law. After CCP, I plan to attend a four year institution and then enter law school. Eventually, I want to become a judge. I do not have a favorite show; however, I am a fan of "Law and Order" and I have recently started watching "Masterminds." My favorite legal movie is "My Cousin Vinnie."
I am a Justice major and in my final semester here at CCP. This course is part of my core curriculam and that's why I choose to take the class. My favorite television shows are Judge Judy and The First 48 which helps explain my major selection.
Well my name is ashley and i have one more year at ccp if everything goes alright. I had professor Freeman in the summer and he was a great teacher, I'm looking forward to another great semester. I'm taking justice so i can become a police officer. I like CSI miami.
My name is Lisa Holmes and I am much more confident now as a Justice Major that I made the right choice! I have always, due to the fact that my father was a Philadelphia police officer when I was very young, had a real interest in the law and just what part I might have in being employed later in my life.
I have always enjoyed movies about Law Enforcement and watch all TV shows pertaining to the law...Law and Order, and Court TV, etc... and I am again confident that this course will be a great stepping stone to pursue a very interesting future career.
My name is Amber Hill I am a Justice major at the college. My long term goal is to become a parole or probation officer. I really don't have a favorite law movie, however my favorite law show is Law and Order SVU.
Hey its stacy, I am a criminal justice major. my favorite shows are CSI and cold case files. I hope to transfer to a 4 year college and finally graduate. I think mr freeman should watch scarface asap (its a classic!) see you guys in class.
hi, im tanya purnell and im taking this course to get my degree because i would like to be a probation officer for juvenilles and mt favorite show is law and order and my favorite movie is a time to kill im hoping to learn what i need to learn to presume my goals.
My name is Andrew, but everyone can call me Drew. I am taking this course becuase it is required of me to do so considering my major in criminal justice. I enjoy watching "COPS" and my favorite movie is "BAD BOYS". This is my last semester at CCP, and hopefully it will be a great one.
I am a computer forensic major. I'm taking this class to further my justice knowledge. One Law show I like is Law and Order. I also like Night Line because the cases are real.
I am a computer forensics major here at CCP. I am currently finishing up my time here and graduating in May. If freeman doesn't fail me! I first enrolled as an architecture major but switched after the continuous headaches.And now am glad that I did because I feel like I belong somewhere in the justice field. I plan on taking an internship with the FBI this summer if all works well.My favorite movie is Scarface, but my all time favorite legal movie is Philadelphia.

Hello, my name is Troy. Like many here, I am a Criminal Justice major. I am taking this class because it's required and it fit with my work squedule:) In the future, I hope to be employed in the law enforcement field weather on the state or local level. If I don't get into the justice arena right away, I plan to continue my education. I can honestly say that I dont watch any of the crime shows or movies.
My name is Giselle and I'm a crimimal justice major. Hopefully I'll be graduating in may and will be transfering to a university to finish my degree... I plan to get into the fields of FBI or homicide. The shows I enjoy watching are CSI,law and order and forensic files..
